First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a special amino acid PET/CT scan to standard imaging helps doctors better manage brain tumors in adults. The scan uses a small amount of radioactive tracer to spot tumors more clearly. Researchers want to see if this extra scan improves care in over half of cases. About 47 participants will be enrolled.
