First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding alprazolam (a medicine for anxiety) to standard ibuprofen can better manage pain after a root canal. About 110 adults with tooth pain will be split into two groups: one gets ibuprofen alone, the other gets ibuprofen plus alprazolam. They will rate their pain at 6, 12, and 24 hours after treatment to see which approach works better.
