First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This early study is testing whether an injection made from cord blood (called Alocyte) is safe and can help reduce pain in people with chronic back pain caused by worn-out facet joints. About 15 adults will receive a low, medium, or high dose directly into the painful joint. The main goal is to check for side effects, but researchers will also see if it improves quality of life.
