New weekly shot could help control stubborn high cholesterol

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug, alirocumab, given once a week to adults with high cholesterol. The goal is to see how well it lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol and what side effects may occur. About 420 participants will take part to find the best dose and check safety.
