First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests an experimental drug, alirocumab, given once a week to adults with high cholesterol. The goal is to see how well it lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol and what side effects may occur. About 420 participants will take different doses, and researchers will measure drug levels in the blood. Alirocumab is already approved for high cholesterol, but this study looks at a weekly schedule.
