Hidden hormone clues to future heart health revealed

NCT ID NCT03484130

Summary

This study aims to understand how a hormone called aldosterone changes over time in people who don't yet have high blood pressure but are at risk for developing it. Researchers will follow 100 participants for several years, measuring their hormone levels and blood pressure regularly. The goal is to learn how early hormone changes might predict future heart and blood pressure problems.
