First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tested a program called 'Choizitaconso' that teaches people with alcohol use disorder skills to control their drinking and reduce alcohol-related harms. About 110 adults in France took part, and researchers measured harms and quality of life before and after the program. The goal was to see if education could help people drink more safely, even if they don't choose abstinence.
