NCT ID NCT05208242
First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether giving a concentrated protein fluid (albumin) to people with septic shock is practical. 47 adults with severe infection and low blood pressure received either albumin or standard fluids. The main goal was to see if a larger future trial is possible, not to prove the fluid works better.
