AI scans old patient records to make future cancer treatment safer
NCT ID NCT07346573
Summary
This study looked back at the medical records and CT scans of 274 people who had already received radiation therapy for liver cancer. Researchers used artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze the scans, trying to find the specific radiation dose that causes a visible change in the liver and to understand why some patients are more likely to have this reaction than others. The goal is to use this information to make future radiation treatments safer by avoiding harmful doses.
