AI scans old cancer images to make future radiation safer
NCT ID NCT07346573
Summary
This study looked back at the medical records and CT scans of 274 people who had radiation therapy for liver cancer. Researchers used artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze the scans to find the specific radiation dose that causes visible changes in the liver. The goal is to help doctors understand why some patients experience these changes and to establish safer dose limits for future treatments.
