AI listens for COVID: new 'E-Stethoscope' aims to spot virus by sound
NCT ID NCT05765396
Summary
This study is testing new, non-invasive devices that work like advanced electronic stethoscopes. The goal is to see if these devices, which listen to sounds and vibrations from a person's body, can accurately detect COVID-19, flu, and RSV infections. Researchers will compare the devices' results to standard lab tests (like PCR tests) in 300 adults, both with and without symptoms, at a military medical center.
