AI listens for COVID: new tech aims to spot illness with a scan
NCT ID NCT05765396
Summary
This study is testing new, non-invasive devices that listen to body sounds to detect COVID-19, flu, and RSV. It involves 300 adults, both with and without symptoms, who are already getting standard screening tests at a military medical center. The goal is to see if these AI-powered e-stethoscopes can identify infections as accurately as current lab tests like PCR.
