First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether an AI-based smartphone app can help people recover faster and more safely after hip or knee replacement surgery. About 106 adults will either use the app for 12 weeks of home exercises or follow the same exercises from a paper brochure. The goal is to see if the app improves walking ability and reduces pain better than standard instructions.
