First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study compares AI-assisted mammogram reading to the standard method of two radiologists reading each scan. About 150,000 women in Norway's breast screening program will participate. The goal is to see if AI can detect breast cancers just as well, potentially making screening faster and more efficient.
