AI steps in to solve dangerous blood thinner dilemma for heart patients
NCT ID NCT05369442
Summary
This study aims to use artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze data from 1,300 heart patients who are at high risk of serious bleeding after receiving a stent (PCI). The goal is to identify which patients are most at risk and to figure out the safest and most effective type and duration of blood-thinning medication (antiplatelet therapy) for them. It's an observational registry study, meaning researchers will collect and analyze real-world treatment data to build better guidance for doctors.
