AI vs. human eye: race to spot silent blindness
NCT ID NCT07243665
Summary
This study is testing whether a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help doctors screen for glaucoma more accurately and efficiently. It will involve 1040 adults with diabetes in Singapore. Participants will be randomly assigned to have their eye photos analyzed either by the AI tool or by the current standard method, and the results will be compared to a specialist's diagnosis.
