AI vs. human eye: race to spot silent blindness
NCT ID NCT07243665
Summary
This study is testing whether a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help doctors spot glaucoma earlier and more accurately in people with diabetes. It will compare the AI's performance against the current manual screening method used in Singapore's diabetic eye care program. The goal is to find a faster, more consistent, and cost-effective way to screen for this leading cause of irreversible blindness.
