First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study will collect heart sound and ECG recordings from 1,000 adults undergoing routine echocardiograms. The goal is to test whether artificial intelligence (AI) can accurately detect pulmonary hypertension and other heart conditions from these recordings. If successful, this approach could lead to faster, cheaper, and more accessible screening for serious cardiovascular diseases.
