AI vs. doctor: the race to spot heart failure
NCT ID NCT07113223
Summary
This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system can help doctors detect heart failure more accurately and earlier than standard methods. It involves nearly 2,000 people over 65 who either have symptoms of heart failure or are at high risk for it. Doctors in some clinics will use the AI tool to help read heart tests (ECGs), while others will use their standard methods, to see which approach leads to better diagnosis.
