AI vs. doctors: the race to spot heart failure first
NCT ID NCT07113223
Summary
This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system can help doctors detect heart failure more accurately and earlier than standard methods. It involves nearly 2,000 people over 65 who either have symptoms or are at high risk for heart failure. Doctors in some clinics will use the AI to help read heart scans (ECGs), while others will use their standard approach, to see which method leads to better diagnosis.
