AI aims to slash 10-Year wait for dystonia diagnosis

NCT ID NCT05317390

Summary

This study is testing a new AI tool called DystoniaNet to help doctors diagnose a movement disorder called isolated dystonia. The tool analyzes brain scans to spot signs of the condition. Researchers are enrolling 1,000 people, including those with dystonia and other similar conditions, to see if the AI can provide a faster, more objective diagnosis than current methods.
