First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study will check if an artificial intelligence program can analyze a single-lead ECG from devices like the Apple Watch to detect low heart pump function (ejection fraction) and other heart structure problems. About 5000 adults at five hospitals in Taiwan will take part. The AI's results will be compared to standard echocardiograms to see how accurate it is.
