First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help primary care doctors in El Salvador make more accurate diagnoses during telemedicine appointments. About 180 doctors will be randomly assigned to use the AI assistant or not. An expert panel will then review the visits to see if the AI group had more correct diagnoses.
