Can an AI app solve epilepsy med problems?
NCT ID NCT07445074
First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether an AI-enhanced version of the Medilepsy® app helps underserved teens and young adults (ages 14-24) with epilepsy take their anti-seizure medication more consistently. The app sends reminders and tracks adherence, and the AI version personalizes these prompts. Researchers will also measure how ready participants are to manage their own health as they transition to adult care. The goal is to improve daily disease control, not to cure epilepsy.
