Summary
This study tests whether a daily supplement called AHCC, made from shiitake mushrooms, can reduce the number of respiratory infections (like colds) in children aged 2 to 4. Sixty children in daycare will receive either AHCC or a placebo for three months. Researchers will track fevers and measure immune markers to see if the supplement boosts immunity.
