First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests a new drug called AHB-137 given with either a hepatitis B vaccine or another medicine (pegylated interferon) in people with chronic hepatitis B who are already on standard antiviral pills. The goal is to see if the combination can lower the virus to undetectable levels and allow participants to safely stop their daily antiviral medication. About 200 adults aged 18-65 with HBeAg-negative hepatitis B will take part.
