Global study seeks answers to why cancer hits black communities differently

Summary
This international study aims to understand how breast and prostate cancer develop differently in people of African ancestry. Researchers will collect genetic data and health information from 1,500 Black cancer patients across 10 countries. The goal is to identify genetic patterns and social factors that affect cancer development to improve future treatments and health equity.
