NCT ID NCT07272902
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at two ways to treat atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) in people who also have heart failure with preserved or mildly reduced heart function. Participants will be randomly assigned to either a procedure called catheter ablation to restore normal rhythm, or medications to control heart rate. The goal is to see which approach is better at improving survival, reducing hospital stays, and enhancing quality of life. This is a small pilot study to test if a larger trial is possible.
