First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looked at whether aesthetic therapy (like skincare and relaxation) can reduce anxiety and improve quality of life for patients with acute leukemia or those who had a stem cell transplant. These patients are isolated in a special hospital area for at least 28 days. The study involved 70 adults and measured their anxiety and well-being using questionnaires at three different times during their stay.
