First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026
Summary
This study looked at how aerobic exercise changes the activity of genes in heart cells of people with heart failure. Forty adults with stable heart failure were split into two groups: one received standard medication, and the other added 36 sessions of high-intensity interval training. Researchers measured heart function, fitness, and blood markers before and after the program to understand the molecular effects of exercise.
