New hope for easing the journey: integrated support model tested for advanced cancer surgery

Summary
This study is testing a new, more comprehensive support program for people with advanced cancer who are having major surgery. The program combines specialized coaching for comfort and symptom management (palliative care) with physical rehabilitation support. Researchers want to see if this integrated approach, provided before and for a year after surgery, improves patients' quality of life and daily function compared to usual care.
