New radiation strategy aims to slash mouth pain after tongue cancer surgery

Summary
This study is for people who had surgery for oral tongue cancer. It tests whether giving radiation only to the neck lymph nodes (not the mouth) can lower painful mouth sores and other side effects. Researchers will track cancer return rates and quality of life. About 24 adults will take part.
