First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adjustable prosthetic sockets can help veterans with lower leg amputations maintain a comfortable fit over time. About 25 veterans will test a special socket with a pressure sensor while sitting, standing, and walking. The goal is to see how the socket performs during daily activities and when adjustments are needed.
