First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at whether patients who had a heart attack, stroke, or other blood vessel problems were prescribed the right cholesterol-lowering medicine when they left the hospital. The goal was to see how well doctors followed official guidelines. 129 patients were included, and the main focus was on whether the prescribed treatment was strong enough to lower LDL cholesterol by at least half or below 55 mg/dL.
