Summary
This study in Tanzania tests whether giving a single dose of the HPV vaccine to boys aged 14-18, in addition to the existing girls' vaccination program, reduces HPV infections in the community. About 10,400 people across 26 communities will take part. Researchers will compare HPV rates in young adults three years after the boys are vaccinated.
