First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding special breathing muscle training to standard cardiac rehabilitation can improve how well the heart and muscles work during exercise in people with heart failure. About 70 adults with heart failure and reduced pumping ability will take part. The goal is to see if this combined approach helps blood flow and reduces the effort of breathing during physical activity.
