First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study is for cancer patients who have both a blood clot and low platelet counts. Researchers want to see if a specially adjusted dose of the blood thinner apixaban can safely treat the clot while causing fewer bleeding problems. About 30 participants will take the adjusted dose, and the study will track how many complete the treatment and how well they stick to it.
