Simple finger pressure could ease the sting of shots

NCT ID NCT07505992

Summary

This study tested whether a simple acupressure technique could make getting a painful shot easier. Researchers worked with 68 adults in an emergency room who needed a specific muscle injection. Half received brief finger pressure on a specific point before the shot, while the other half got standard care, to see if it reduced their pain, fear, and improved satisfaction.
