Finger-Pressure therapy tested to soothe breast cancer drug side effects
NCT ID NCT06228768
Summary
This study tested whether a simple, needle-free therapy called acupressure could help relieve joint pain and stiffness caused by certain breast cancer medications. Fifty postmenopausal women with breast cancer were randomly assigned to use either real or sham acupressure on themselves for 12 weeks. Researchers measured changes in pain, stiffness, sleep, and fatigue to see if the finger-pressure technique provided meaningful relief from these common side effects.
