Summary
This study tested whether giving activity trackers to people in inpatient treatment for alcohol use disorder was helpful. Researchers wanted to see if using the trackers made people more physically active and improved their mood, sleep, and anxiety during treatment. They enrolled 90 adults and measured their activity, emotional state, and how well they accepted the trackers.
