Summary
This study tested a year-long program called ActionHealthNYC that helps uninsured immigrants in New York City get better access to health care. About 2,400 adults who couldn't get public insurance due to their immigration status took part. The goal was to see if the program made it easier for them to get primary care and preventive services compared to those not in the program.
