First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study is looking at two substances in the blood, Activin-A and FSTL3, to see if they can help predict how people with pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs) will do over time. Researchers will follow 550 adults with different types of this condition for two years. The goal is to see if these markers can forecast the need for a lung transplant or death, which could help doctors make better treatment decisions.
