Summary
This study tested if playing a customized sound for 3 or 20 minutes could temporarily quiet tinnitus. 45 adults with chronic tinnitus took part. Researchers found the best sound for each person and measured how much it reduced the ringing. The goal was short-term symptom relief, not a cure.
