First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study compares two surgical techniques for repairing a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the knee. Sixty adults with an ACL-deficient knee will be randomly assigned to receive either a standard reconstruction using their own tissue or a donor tissue reconstruction with an extra stabilizing procedure. The goal is to see which approach better restores knee stability and strength.
