First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving acetaminophen along with standard ibuprofen treatment could better close a common heart blood vessel (ductus arteriosus) in very premature infants. Only one baby was enrolled before the study was stopped early. The goal was to see if the combination was safer and more effective than ibuprofen alone.
