Summary
This study tests whether a shorter course of radiation (1 to 5 days) after breast cancer surgery is as safe and effective as the standard 6.5-week treatment. It involves 121 women aged 40 and older with small tumors. The goal is to reduce side effects and improve convenience while keeping cancer from coming back.
