Summary
This study looks at how the drug acamprosate affects brain function in people with moderate to severe alcohol use disorder. Researchers will use EEG to measure brain activity in 48 adults aged 21-65 who stay in the clinic for about 3 weeks. Half get acamprosate, half get a placebo, and brain wave changes are compared.
