Could a vaccine and antibody combo free people with HIV from daily pills?

NCT ID NCT07054931

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining a vaccine that attacks HIV with a long-acting antibody can help people with HIV control the virus without daily antiretroviral therapy (ART). The trial involves 48 adults with well-controlled HIV. Participants will receive the vaccine and antibody, then briefly pause their regular medication to see if their immune system can keep the virus in check on its own.
