Summary
This study tests two heart procedures in 200 people with persistent atrial fibrillation and scarred heart tissue. One group gets standard vein isolation; the other also gets ablation of scarred areas. The goal is to see which approach better prevents irregular heartbeats for a year without needing rhythm-control drugs.
