Brain tumor drug levels measured in tiny trial
NCT ID NCT05413304
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This early-phase study aims to see if researchers can measure how much of the cancer drug abemaciclib reaches the brain tumor and surrounding fluid in people with aggressive gliomas. Participants take the drug for a few days before surgery, then a small tube collects fluid from the brain for 48 hours. Only 1 person is enrolled, so the focus is on feasibility, not treatment effect.
